Hello world,

Just to introduce myself: I'm Michael. I've been listening to classical music since I was about 18. I'm going to be 40 soon. 

No great surprises in my taste. My top composers would be Palestrina, Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Chopin and Morton Feldman, and I also love all chamber music from the romantic period, esp. Brahms.

There's not much that I really don't like. I'm rather indifferent to: baroque opera, any symphony done after Beethoven, with the exception of Mahler, all Strauss, all Wagner.

I guess I have about 800 or 900 classical cd's. The majority are second hand or bargain buys.
