MI gave me the Schnittke symphonies set, and I enjoyed a few symphonies very much so, some were good, others okay.  Nothing I want to hold onto, I would rather have awesome recordings of the symphonies that I liked.  So I would like to regift the set.  First to PM me gets it.  Of course if MI wants it back, he gets priority. :)

Also when I bought the Wand Bruckner set, I received two instead of one.  I contacted the seller but they don't want it back so anyone that wants it can have it, again first PM gets priority. :)

Schnittke has found a new home (of course assuming MI doesn't want it back). :)

Oh I don't want it back. That's why I sent it to you! ;) But good luck to anyone who gets the set. Schittke simply wasn't my cup-of-tea.

Schnittke sure is my pot of Oolong.

My general problem with Schnittke lies with his "polystylism." I don't have a problem with composers who use this type of technique, but what I have a problem is how disorganized his music sounded. He made John Zorn's polystylism sound good. :)

Was that a typo, Freudian slip, or authentic bon mot?

You mean just a matter of a bit more postage?
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

He should give it to you just for having an avatar of one of Richard Diebenkorn's paintings. :)

Nothing wrong with the Norwegian flag.  Happens to be one of my favorite flags, actually!   :)
