'sorry vandermolen you are banned from using this forum'

What's that all about?  :o  ;D  ::)
I had this happen recently as well and decided that ritter and Mapman must have gotten sick of me.  ;D

It was long ago enough, and the cause must have been trivial enough, that I don't even remember why, but at one point I deleted my account. I'm sure my absence did not last long. My username has almost always been the same. I once toyed with the orthography (k a rl h e nn i ng) And once briefly I once changed it to something musically random, but I have long forgotten that, too.

I'm on my third GMG account. Regret those decisions but you can't change the past.

FWIW, ever since I registered (before 2007) I never logged out voluntarily.  :laugh:

@vandermolen Last I heard, she had threatened to hire a dumpster and someone to clean out your man cave.

My profile is nearly a teenager.  :o

This is my second account here, dating back to 2018. I deleted my first account in frustration during the Great Slowdown when the forum was becoming practically unuseable. If you see an old post with the name Kishnevi attached, that was my first account. I don't remember when I started it.
I like changing my avatar from time to time. The current Hedgehog Hobbit was found on Twitter. But the name on this account is merely my initials.

I was trying to remember who Kishveni was.

The hedgehog hobbit avatar is a Top 5 GMG avatar of all time IMHO. 🦔
