Trying various workarounds to avoid a problem the forum software has with posting many images in one post (I could just do several posts, but this is a challenge).

Trying to make my bottom lip stop shaking. It's an embarrassing tic that happens when I listen to powerful music or feel an intense emotion.  :(

Wow, what are you listening to? If you're feeling an intense emotion you don't have to explain why if you don't want to though  :)

Eek, must suck when other people are around :s I hate the occasional tears/goosebumps I get from music if another person is with me :P But generally I only get them when listening on my own, anyway...

Luckily I don't listen to music when other people are around. I don't think I could — it's too personal.

That used to be an issue for me (although now I can listen with my significant other, as I've known them long enough for it to be okay to not hide any embarassing emotional reactions) - but the biggest problem currently is the nature of orchestral music (large, indulgent). It's actually embarassing when someone walks in on me listening to it in a way that chamber music wouldn't be. And ironically, this could be avoided by listening on headphones, but orchestral music is the most damaging to the ears to listen to in that way - chamber music wouldn't be a problem, and yet, I have no need to listen to that on headphones... grr...

But of course, I always find ways to make mountains out of molehills.

I realize this sounds strange and animal-like, but are you male or female? I've been trying to put a mental picture of you together from your posts, but somehow you have remained androgynous in a way.   :D

On behalf of Lethe, I can tell you that she is female. :)
