Any pyramidologists (pyramidiots) here?

You must admit the 1970s Viking photos were a quite a sight, even if the recent Mars orbiter undermines the structure's definition a bit (a Nasa conspiracy to alter the photos). The nearby triangular pyramid is also remarkably regular and the other singular features in the Cydonia region definitely appeal to the imagination: some pics on Wikipedia, and good links.

I particularly like the idea of a link with the Egyptian pyramids and the notion of their construction around 10500BC by a progenitor civilization, long before Mesopotamia. I made it to Giza early last year and though disappointed with the state of disrepair, the pyramids and the whole of that culture really do resonate in the mind- it has a real aura around it.

As in Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles, humans may indeed been to Mars long ago...

Maybe the face is Sean's.  He was living in the real world for a few days but now is back to la-la land.

Thinking that humans might have been to Mars long ago is a sign of an overactive imagination, not passion.

I thought you might think that. I know someone in St Andrews who says to her son; "For a clever lad, ye can be affie stupit".

Fair enough. When does your trajectory bring you back in contact with our gravitational pull?

This progenitor civilization must have been awfully Apollonian to worry about such geometrical objects as pyramids.

Yeah, why is it that ancient peoples never built giant stone dodecahedrons?

Well, become a 33º Freemason, a member of the Illuminati, and a member of Skull and Bones - though not in that order, of course - and you will find out about such facts. I mean, those are the three groups controlling the world, so they must know.

Mustn't they?

Ah, but who controls them?

I was still working in the philatelic field when these stamps were issued by Sierra Leone in 1990. Gullible people actually purchased them on the internet for thousands of dollars apiece. Knowledgeable collectors knew they could be had for only a few dollars each, although most wouldn't have wanted them anyway since they are regarded in the field as "wallpaper" -- stamps produced by a country to raise money that serve no real postal purpose.

They control each other, without each other's knowledge.
