Thanks Pat :)

I have two vacations coming up, and should take a looooot of pix during those.  I teach and do proofreading now, and work 7 days a week--not that many hours each day, but both jobs are so mentally exhausting that when I get free time I just want to gel with music and surf the web.  Even when I take the camera with me when I go out, I usually never take the lens cap off...

a) Splendid!
b) Ah yes, life can be hectic enough to leave no room for hobbies, just recovery.

Nice shots, Mooka! (the colour scheme of the first one is a bit jarring, I think I'd prefer this as a monochrome, even though the colours are of course a big part of the image. A colour-selective conversion, e.g. red or blue channel, might look nice.. Otherwise I like this sort of thing, a bit of a Degas hybrid, as I think he only painted horses racing and women bathing or dancing..)

Re: "like Sarge's" or "arty" - I would like a bit more meat to these descriptions, and not just because many of Sarge's pictures posted in this thread are very much 'arty' in the positive sense, at least to me anyway.

Unfortunately I can't post my really "arty" images here  ;)

This is very nice. The other photos are also good, and I particularly like the photo of a woman on a bicycle.
