Good Oriental/exotic classical music? (hopefully with vocals).

I hope is okay to ask suggestions for classical music that is not strictly european. I've looked into some of the usual classical music - monteverdi, j s bach, beethoven, handel, cristobal morales and stuff like that, and though some of the songs I liked were nice to listen to, I no longer enjoy them and they have dried out for me.  I know there probably may be hundred more composers, but do not care to look into them, for now. I do not tend to enjoy much of modern "genre" music either, some byzantine chant I do enjoy. Now I wanted suggestions for music (not the modern metal, rock stuff) that is very good in the classical vein, enjoyable yet interesting and meaty from the Middle Eastern world. I have listened to a little bit of their music from suggestions I got some years ago on another classical music forum and really enjoy the vibe, the kind that reminds you of ameer Arabs, dancers, sand and oil, and pharaohs and all. I want anything Middle Eastern/Persian even tribal and African if there be anything that might be good. (I'm familiar with and not wanting suggestions for Indian classical). I'm willing and open to check out anything that is interesting, but I prefer pieces and songs that are fast, not too slow, and preferably having vocals/singing.

You might like "Calling All Dawns" by Christopher Tin.  Strong world influences, vocals all the way through with a strong classical background. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR_rKSTM43I

Nielsen's Aladdin or Sibelius' Belshazzar's Feast should fit the bill nicely. 8)

Was this post really necessary, amw? Sounds pretty rude to me.

There is also Canadian group Constantinople, stylistically not dissimilar to Savall's Orient-Occident projects. They record for Atma.

And speaking of musical fusions, which I usually dislike, this disc is another brilliant exception:
