That could do a lot of damage (particularly to a person) if that fell!  :o

(I am assuming that, for the price of c. $50,000, the installation would be as good as it gets.)

From Dec. 21, conductor Herbert Blomstedt — age 97 — after the final bars of Bruckner's Ninth Symphony with the Berlin Philharmonic, followed by one minute of silence.

With deep thanks to my pal James Parsons, who snagged the image from the orchestra's digitalconcerthall.com

Brilliant. At some point, the seeds will sprout and start to grow, giving art a new dimension. There will also be practical benefits -- the harvest could feed a starving family.

Well, if the artwork was "just" $50,000, then try and find someone who would install it!  Imagine what they would have to wear?!  And what kind of structural support you would need to have in place?

That would be nice, though I suspect that one would need to plant the artwork and water it--perhaps some of the seeds would sprout?
