Interesting. I absolutely adore these movies! I find them super entertaining. I have them all on DVD and the two that have been released on Blu-ray in region B. It has been super-frustrating to wait for the release of the rest on Blu-ray in region B for over a decade and still nothing! 

I agree, the Pink Panther is great fun. I should probably seek out the rest. Heck, I should even give Shot in the Dark another crack.

"Relics" and "Chain of Command"

I actually found time to squeeze both of these in yesterday and last night.

Godzilla 1954 is the sensible entrance into the franchise, as well as the film with the greatest humanity (  along with Minus One, which will be next if l understood her ).

Not everyone can see past the unavoidable technical and stylistic deficits of such a film, and access the underlying narrative. That Cassie has such empathy ( which serves as her entrée into the heart of whatever story is presented ) for fictitious characters of an era long past, speaks to a great store of generosity within her.

Yup, I'm a fan.

Very peculiar, to be sure. Previously, I'd only seen clips of various Pink Panther movies and A Shot in the Dark. The latter didn;t really click with me, somehow.
