Chandos has a HUGE Winter Sale of their own release CD's/SACD's - it seems like pretty much their entire catalogue at varying but VERY reduced prices - £3-4 per disc and some a lot cheaper.

I've picked up a load of stuff.  It does make me wonder if they are just getting rid of all their 'hard' stock?

EDIT:  the way in which some recordings are listed is odd to say the least - so an orchestral work might appear in "choral" because of a short choral coupling or vice versa.  For example there are almost no albums listed in "Films" but then elsewhere quite a few of the excellent film music series appear elsewhere!  You really have to look everywhere to make sure a favourite is not missing.  One tip - if you have a specific disc in mind the gerneral search will find it listed at the reduced price.....

Maybe they go all streaming. ;D  New releases are on the streaming services as soon as released, and even earlier as the CD launch.
Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot.

I saw one Chandos deal of a recording I cherish (and already have), Lortie's complete Piano Sonatas. I'll probably pass on the sale, though, because shipping is pricey to the U.S. and it would only be a bargain for a large number of discs.

Yeah I saw a few things I wanted but not enough to compensate for shipping.

Why does Chandos charge huge shipping/handling fees for a digital download?

Is this perhaps due to if one wanted to get a USB stick of the recordings mailed to oneself (vs. just getting a download)?

Seems like there is erratic pricing of box set downloads, with some bargains. For instance, lossless download of Jochum complete Philips, 15 disc set, for $13.75 on Presto. (No booklet)

Download to Denmark = 385 D.Kr which equal about 51 Euro's or 55 USD.
Any so-called free choice is only a choice between the available options.

That's a shame. Often it's the other way around, and U.S. customers have to pay more.

Here's another I came across. Nicholas Angelich: Hommage. Just short of 8 hours of music, lossless download from Presto $10.

Sadly in the UK when you add that to your cart it miraculously(?!?) becomes £115.69!!

Mine too, and I'm tearing through it. Up to 16, I think, going in order. I've been following a thread on another site dedicated to "Huge box sets." It's rather dangerous, as these international bargains keep popping up :(   Irritatingly, on that thread, their main topic is outrage that, say, one disk in a 100-disk box-set ends 5 seconds short or something.

If that's about the Isaac Stern Tzigane, that's a known defect. I believe there's information on how to get a replacement disk in the Youtube review of this box set by Hurwitz.
Personally, I'll try to live with 5 seconds of missing music in a 120 disc box set.

Fascinating to go through this set and the complete Szell simultaneously, quite the contrast. (While reading the autobiography of Anshel Brusilow, who has been (assistant) concertmaster in both orchestras.  :) )
