During my daily scroll of Facebook, I saw a Norman Rockwell picture I had not seen before.
Then I noticed the gibberish words on the carton set on the ground next to the boy with the seven fingered boy who was sitting next to the girl with the 1 and 3/4s legs.

AI spamming for internet clicks posted by people who seem to be unbothered by how obvious the AI is.

(Googling suggests it originated from a Pinterest that offers "Norman Rockwell style" art, so in addition to all else, the Facebook account stole it.)

I half-heard (via radio) a news story regarding this [I was busy doing some other things in the kitchen.].  I think that part of the popularity was that they were also printed in inexpensive editions.  It was an NPR story.

Poland is selling its frozen butter reserves to curb soaring prices.

Poland is selling up to 1,000 metric tons (1,102 tons) of its frozen butter reserves to bring down surging prices ahead of presidential elections in May.

The government's strategic reserves agency announced the butter auction Tuesday, citing significant increases in butter prices worldwide that it blamed on a shortage of milk.

"This emergency action... should contribute to stabilizing butter prices in the market," the agency said, according to a report by CNN affiliate TVN24, a local commercial news channel. The bidding process is due to start Thursday. "
