2nd Violinist (sotto voce): Here they go again!... Men!
Pollini (sigh): See what I must put up with?

Alternatively, the basic dialogue is: "who farted?".

I'd suggest it's Lady Windermere judging how well the parlor maid polished the furniture.

Quote from: Kalevala on October 09, 2024, 09:50:40 AMOh, dear!  That is certainly not a good shot to promote sales.  :(  If nothing else, why is the female violinist looking down and the expression on her face?

K

Husband standing on her right. The other two may be saying "why did you marry him!" She answers "I know!"
You must have a very good opinion of yourself to write a symphony - John Ireland.

I opened the door people rushed through and I was left holding the knob - Bo Diddley.

Took a while for me to figure out why a flute/guitar album portrayed a flute and a bassoon. (I originally saw it as a thumbnail. The lettering down the left side, bad at any size, is even less obvious when small.)

There is another edition of this release that is much better.

Agreed! The pic itself is fine. But my immediate worry was for his instrument.  ???

One would like to think that it's a combo of a real photo of the violinist and maybe a photo of the ocean with a bunch of Photoshop/editing, etc. involved.

I hope so. Otherwise, I'd be sweating on the thought of that (presumably irreplaceable) musical instrument getting wet.

Given the relative height of the water, the violin was probably in no real danger.

Now if it were a 'cello, there certainly would be a problem. And it's clear why the pianist wouldn't volunteer his instrument.
