When I was very young, my family was involved in the Pentecostal revival, so I got to see some wild shit like folks speaking in tongues, folks writhing in the spirit, testifyin', but sadly no snakes. ;D

If you don't know what tongues are, nothing can prepare you for it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ILEapoVwdyo

This is just asking for a snarky response (I don't like any of The Beatles albums), but I shall leave it be. Instead, I'll work on getting my knees flippy-floppy! 8)

Sounds very rootish mixed with the delta blues and sorrow songs.

Amazing. :)

Looking for something else, I came across this:

Unlike anything I've heard before - smooth, jazzy-synthy, luscious. 8)

Joachim Kühn, Paris is Wonderful
Gnarly 1970 Euro free jazz, Youtube here.
I sometimes enjoy this kind of music, but it's definitely polarizing (at best? ;D).

Gotta love the archivists: The Campbell Duet's How Far is Heaven ("hillbilly gospel")

"This is the second album of the most requested hymns of The Campbell Duet.
We have been singing for the past ten years, and during that time God has blessed us so
graciously, and has called Jim into the ministry. He is now an ordained minister of the
Missionary Baptist Church.

We would like to introduce our twelve year old daughter, Nancy, as she helps to sing the
title song, How Far Is Heaven. Nancy has been singing since she was five years old.
May God bless you as you listen to this album."
