I must admit that while watching that, I wanted to lift those tiny little ducklings up and set them down near Mom (or at least provide a ramp for them)....

🤣

I love that video with the bird and its cats....too funny and wonderful.  Love the narration by the owner on it too.  Think that I posted it a while ago on the cat thread?  Sweet to see how kind animals can be to one another.  I wish that we humans could get better at that.

Yes, I was worried about the last one!

I take it that the ducklings are trying to get to the Shed?
Someone must explain to them that you do not go to the Shed. The Shed comes to you.

Elgarian returns, to comment on a duck video? :)

No, no. I have never left the Shed.

I've missed the Shed, whist simultaneously recogising that the Shed is ever-present, even while we are missing it.

But seriously, are there now too many ducklings in the Shed?

Emotionally, that is indeed the case. But when ducks Shed their feathers (as I believe they do, once or twice a  year), what impact will this have on the totality of Shedness? And is the Shed a verb or a noun? Or indeed, a verb AND a noun? Can one, in fact, Shed the Shed?

Having just re-watched Mary Poppins, I'll go ahead and interject this joke from the Ed Wynne tea party scene. My friend had such a terrible nightmare he tore his pillow to bits with his teeth. When he told me about it next day, I asked, "how do you feel?" "Down in the mouth."

I am not sure what the Shed is, but the videos of ducks, cows, and birds are keeping my family mightily entertained!

To add to the shed.  How can we learn to be kinder (or maybe as kind ) than what we think animals are like?  Perhaps we have some things to learn?

I like this, for a number of reasons, perhaps the least of which is: although the Shed contains All, it is nevertheless possible (perhaps even necessary) to add to it.

Let the size of the Shed be X.
Let us now add 1 to the Shed, thus: X+1.
Now the Shed is that which contains All, and therefore cannot be added to. Thus:

X=X+1.

This is the Great Equation of Shed.
(It may be deduced that within the Shed, 1=0. Or, in the words of the Poet of Shed, the Shed is a bowl of cherries.)

You've reminded me of an Erma Bombeck quote (re "bowl of cherries").   :)

So, maybe the Shed is a bottomless pit?  🤔
