Nice selection

Credit Mrs. Rock. After an afternoon of Schoenberg, she insisted we switch to Bach  ;D

the phone rings and somebody says,
"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

A composer largely forgotten. A shame for he writes beautiful music with a kick. Highly original and worthwhile to have and hear.

Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

"When Time hath gnawed our bones to dust, yet friendship's echo shall not rust"

Harry

Like Woyrsch, this composer is equally obscure and totally forgotten. Nevertheless his music deserves better.

Why Heinrich Kaminski is forgotten, is a riddle to me. He fits perfectly into his time, and his music has enough to say. A master, albeit one that is not seen neither heard.

I support listening to Schoenberg, but I also believe in preserving marital integrity, and Bach sure ain't bad.
"l do not consider my music as atonal, but rather as non-tonal. I feel the unity of all keys. Atonal music by modern composers admits of no key at all, no feeling of any definite center." - Arnold Schoenberg

She married the Sarge, what did you expect?

Well, if she also chose Pinnock 1, her powers are almost supernatural.  :D

A splendid recording, I think. :)
