Quote from: lordlance on January 24, 2025, 10:11:43 PMThe number of Dorati boxes issued and that will be issued make me ask if there is any duplication. Are all boxes unique? If not, is there a way to know which discs are duplicated?

I'm sure there is no duplication among the eloquence releases. The great majority of the stereo Dorati recordings were released in the original MlP I, II and III boxes.
Formerly Scarpia (Scarps), Baron Scarpia, Ghost of Baron Scarpia, Varner, Ratliff, Parsifal, perhaps others.

79 ain't that much for a classical box set. Now the Bach333 or Complete DG/Decca Karajan on the other hand...

Ah, but even picking those up in order to drop them might be a real challenge.
